Villa
The historical Villa built in time of three weeks for the visit of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Kaiserin Augusta Victoria in 1898. For a long time, it was under the protection of Weaving Factory and inside it has countless historical work of art. Now it depends on National Palace. |
Local
The Local house was restored in 1985, which was built for factory officers near the Historical Villa. After the sale of Public it stayed empty for a long time. Then on the first side of 1999 half of the building was transferred to K.O.Ü (Kocaeli University) and the other side was transferred to Hereke Municipality by Public board of directors. The building was used as a social club by both of two associations. |
Sümer Primary School
Weaving Factory built it in 1898 as a primary school. For a long time, it supported to Primary education of Hereke and celebrated the anniversary of 100th years in 1998. Earthquake of August 17th, 1999 damaged the school. After waiting to appropriate funds for repairing for a long time, the school has been built again in 2002. |
Picnic
The coast on the East of Hereke till to Sirinyali especially in summer month public of Hereke and circumference townsfolk uses as a picnic area. The area, afforesting working is going on arouses interest because of this kind of coast count remains a few. |
Marina
